Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what RoomRevamp collects, how we use it, and the choices you have, including for uploaded room photos and AI-generated results.

01Who we are

RoomRevamp (the “App”) is owned and operated by Sidewave Digital Inc. (“Sidewave,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using RoomRevamp, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

02Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Install and account information, including an anonymous install identifier, authentication identifiers if used, and basic account or device state needed to operate credits and purchases.
  • Content you provide, including room photos, prompts, style selections, generation settings, and the generated images returned to you.
  • Purchase information, including subscription status, product identifiers, credit balances, transaction identifiers, entitlement status, renewal events, and records needed to grant or restore credits.
  • Device and usage information, including app interactions, feature usage, logs, device type, operating system version, approximate region, crash or diagnostic information, and abuse-prevention signals such as App Attest data.
  • Notification information, including push notification tokens and notification preferences if you enable notifications.
  • Support communications, including messages, feedback, attachments, and contact details you choose to send us.

We do not intentionally collect payment card numbers. App Store payments are handled by Apple, and purchase validation may be handled by Apple and RevenueCat.

03How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide the App, process uploaded room photos and prompts, generate redesign concepts, and deliver generated images.
  • Operate accounts, anonymous installs, subscriptions, purchases, credits, restores, refunds, and purchase-related support.
  • Store generation records, credit ledgers, and temporary generated images needed to display, re-download, troubleshoot, and secure results.
  • Send service messages, support replies, and push notifications you request or enable.
  • Maintain, debug, secure, monitor, and improve the App, including detecting fraud, abuse, rate-limit violations, and technical failures.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Use / EULA, and protect our users, the public, and Sidewave.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded room photos to train AI models for third parties.

04AI processing of photos

When you upload a room photo or submit a prompt, we send the content and generation settings to our server and AI image-processing providers so they can generate your result.

We share only what is needed to perform the generation, deliver the output, investigate failures or abuse, and maintain the service. Generated images may be stored temporarily in private storage and delivered through signed URLs. The default temporary generated-image retention period is 24 hours unless we change operational settings or need a longer period for security, legal, or support reasons.

The original and generated images you save in the iOS app may also be stored locally on your device, depending on your app use and device settings.

05How we share information

We share information only as needed to run RoomRevamp:

  • Service providers, including cloud hosting, database, storage, AI image generation, purchase validation, notification, analytics, logging, security, and customer-support providers.
  • Apple and app-store providers, to process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, restores, family sharing where applicable, app distribution, diagnostics, and compliance.
  • RevenueCat and purchase infrastructure, to validate App Store purchases, manage entitlements, process subscription events, and grant credits.
  • Legal, safety, and compliance recipients, when required by law or when necessary to enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, or protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business-transfer parties, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to this Policy.

06Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the App, operate credits and purchases, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain security.

Temporary generated images are generally retained for a short period so the App can display and re-download results. Credit, purchase, support, security, and abuse-prevention records may be kept longer where needed for accounting, compliance, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, or dispute handling.

When you delete content or request account deletion, we delete or de-identify associated personal information within a reasonable period unless retention is required or permitted for legal, tax, accounting, security, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.

07Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, private server-side credentials, access controls, signed URLs for temporary generated images, App Attest or similar abuse-prevention mechanisms, and operational monitoring.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and respond to incidents appropriately.

08Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You can request help using the contact details below.

You can manage App Store subscriptions, cancellations, and refund requests through your Apple account and Apple’s support channels. You can disable push notifications in iOS Settings.

You may delete local images from within the App where available, or by deleting the App from your device. Deleting the App may not delete server-side purchase, credit, support, security, or legal records that we are permitted or required to retain.

09Children

RoomRevamp is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10International users

Sidewave Digital Inc. operates from Canada and may process or store information in Canada, the United States, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your location.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App or on our website.
